Frequently asked questions.

FREEHANDS 

Freehand pieces are created the day of your appointment by drawing directly on your body. We will be collaborating with one another on the design, but there is nothing drawn ahead of time.

I generally start out by gathering references with you to get an idea of things you like/don't like. I'm also happy to work from references you bring in as inspiration. 

Once reference images have been gathered we will start by getting a sense of the general movement and direction/size of the piece. We will slowly build off from this piece by piece. All input is happily taken into consideration. Since I draw piece by piece there are many opportunities for fine tuning/ adjustments and changes. Please speak up! I love creating pieces with my clients that flow naturally with each individual's body.

After we get a rough sketch in, I will often erase and redraw a bit more refined. After doing an initial lining of the tattoo I'll then draw a quick sketch to get a good idea of what details will be added.

Depending on each piece and the amount of detail the plant has, drawing will often take some time. I never want us to feel rushed with drawing it on.

FLASH

Flash are pre drawn tattoo designs. Each of my flash will say whether it is repeatable or not. I generally repeat each design 3-5 times before retiring it. Each flash design will have a minimum size requirement next to it. 

Flash will be posted to my instagram a few days prior to my books opening. 

Time of submission no longer matters when claiming a flash design. When submitting for a flash piece I take your ideal placement and size into consideration. I will often prioritize larger/interesting placement. 

PRICING

I am CASH ONLY.

My hourly rate is $175 for flash and freehand botanicals with a $250 minimum. I will do my best to give an educated estimate, with that being said, estimating how long freehand botanicals will take is challenging since they are not drawn ahead of time and we may be done a bit sooner/later than imagined.

I require a non refundable deposit of $175 to secure your appointment. I allow one reschedule per deposit. After that you will need to put down a second one. 

For freehand botanicals I never want us to feel rushed during the drawing process. If it takes under an hour to sketch ( most botanical freehands take 20-50 minutes to draw on ) it is a set fee of $40. If the sketching takes an hour plus it is a set fee of $60. 

I only charge for tattoo time, meaning I will never charge for water, snack or bathroom breaks or the time it takes to stencil/wrap up your tattoo. (Guesting prices may differ to reflect tattoo pricing in the area.)

BOOKING FAQ’S

I will open my books every 3-6 months. My website and bio will always say when books will be opening or if they are closed. 

I will be booking for flash and botanical freehands only. At this time I am not doing any customs. If you have any questions on freehands or flash pieces please see the FAQ highlight on instagram.

The only way to get on my books is by submitting a google request form when books open.

Please take your time and be as clear and concise as possible in the form. Don't rush! Time of submission does not matter as long as it's within the timeframe. If you are wanting multiple pieces whether it is a freehand and a flash or two freehands please fill out a NEW form for each piece. 

Once you have submitted a form, if you're chosen we will try to get back to you shortly to get a $175 non refundable deposit. You will have 48 hours to send over the deposit via venmo. Once we receive the deposit we will get you a scheduling link so you are able to book an appointment. 

I am CASH ONLY. Please come with a little extra in case we go over the estimate. Freehands are hard to know exact timing for. 

I get that things come up and if you need to reschedule I understand. Please reach out via email asap. I allow one reschedule per deposit. Any additional reschedules will require another deposit. You are unable to reschedule if the appointment time is less than 72 hours away.

My tattooing hours are Tuesday - Friday. Please book for the amount of time listed in the booking email. If you book for less time than stated we will need to reschedule. If the estimated time is longer than four hours I am always happy to break it up into multiple sessions. We can get a good start on the piece during the first session and then set a follow up date during our first session. 

I am so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you and am so appreciative of the astounding support. 

I wish I was able to get back to each of you but please understand my limited capacity to do so. If you don't hear back from my assistant Holly or myself in a timely manner asking for a deposit it means you didn't make it this round.
